Baltimore Farmers Market Season Begins Sunday

Baltimore Farmer's Market

Even though most of the harvest is just starting to sprout, the Baltimore Farmer's Market & Bazaar is set to begin its 35th season this Sunday, April 1. Located underneath the Jones Fall Expressway at Holliday and Saratoga Streets, the market will take place every Sunday from 7 a.m. to noon through December 23, 2012.

In case you have never made it to the market, it is the best place in Baltimore to find fresh fruit, vegetables, meats, baked goods, herbs, dairy products, and more that come straight from area farmers. There are also plenty of food vendors selling cuisine onsite, including delicious made-to-order crepes, pizzas, sandwiches, and burritos--just to name a few. Crafts and artwork such as jewelry, clothing, and photographs are also sold.

For a full list of vendors that will be at the farmer's market this year, visit the Baltimore Office of Promotion & the Arts website.
