Several of Baltimore's food trucks will descend on the Maryland SPCA's recently revamped headquarters (3300 Falls Rd.) on March 23 from 5-9 p.m. for a rally that benefits the organization and introduces adoptable dogs to attendees. So far, Gypsy Queen, GrrChe, Kooper's Chowhound Burger Wagon, Iced Gems Creations, and South Carolina BBQ have confirmed. Beer and wine will also be available for purchase.
According to the Maryland SPCA, adoptable dogs will parade through the parking lot, CBS Radio will play music and hand out prizes, and guests can tour the Maryland SPCA. Due to space issues, it is asked that guests leave their furry friends at home for the event. Guests would park on the Hampden streets or at the nearby Academy for College and Career Exploration (1300 W. 36th St.). A portion of the proceeds from food sales will benefit the Maryland SPCA, which operates entirely on private donations. Admission is free.
