Opening Day at Camden Yards This Friday

Camden Yards - Orioles Opening Day 2012

The Baltimore Orioles will kick off their 2012 season at Camden Yards on Friday, April 6 against the Minnesota Twins. The first pitch is set to be thrown at 3:05 p.m., but festivities will actually start at noon when the park opens its gates just before batting practice. Tickets for the game are still available, with some up for grabs as low as $5.

This year, Camden Yards is celebrating their 20th anniversary. The club will unveil six bronze sculptures of legendary Orioles throughout the season at different games: Frank Robinson on April 28; Brooks Robinson on May 12; Earl Weaver on June 30; Jim Palmer on July 14; Eddie Murray on Aug. 11; and Cal Ripken Jr. on Sept. 6. New Natty Boh cans commemorating the stadiums anniversary will also be sold.

How do you think the O's will measure up this year? Weigh your opinion in the comments below.
